The answer is very simple: Live Rosin is extracted from the cannabis plant without the use of any solvents/chemicals… Only ice, water, heat, pressure and a WHOLE LOTTA LOVE. This is known as “Solventless Extraction”. Live Resin and Distillate are extracted from the cannabis plant using solvents/chemicals such as butane and propane.
Technically the oil in our devices is not hash, although the Live Rosin oil in our devices comes from hash. Simply put: we essentially squeeze the oil out of the hash using heat and pressure, and then inject that oil directly into our devices.
Live Rosin is the type of oil that we extract from frozen cannabis buds without using any solvents/chemicals. We use a combination of water and ice to extract hash directly from the frothy, frozen cannabis buds. That’s it. Once we have the hash extracted and dried, we simply press it between two heated press plates. With enough pressure and heat, oil begins to ooze out of the hash. This oil is called Live Rosin. Once we’ve gathered the Live Rosin, it can be cured into a concentrate, injected into a vaporizer, mixed into our pre-rolls or mixed into our chews.
One the bottom of our disposables, there is a tiny pinhole (declogging feature). Simply put the device up to your lips and blow through the hole. If that doesn’t work, rub the device between your hands to generate some friction and heat to loosen up the oil inside the device. Once you feel warmth start to build up between your hands, try blowing through the pinhole again and pulling a few times on the mouthpiece. Repeat until the device is declogged.
You absolutely can! Our disposables are tapered, so they fit snugly on whichever bong size you’re using. Simply drop the mouthpiece side of the device into the downstem of your bong, and start pulling. We highly recommend pulling the disposable a few times to prime the oil before dropping into your downstem. ALSO, there is a pinhole on the bottom of the device, which is the declogging feature. If you put the pinhole up to your lips and blow through the device, you’ll see vapor flowing out of the mouthpiece. This is a great way to share your Lily Extracts product with other people!
